As a user, I'd like to share a link to a particular item on the map, so that the person I share it with can open the map directly at the specific location. The link should open the Android app at the given location.

The form for adding items could do with some design love. For example, would it benefit from TextInputLayout from the Android design library?

2018 is coming up fast. Add an event type for 2018 conferences, so we can start adding the data to the map. Archive the 2016 conferences, to make way for the new year.

We're now half way through 2016. It's time to archive the 2015 conferences and make way for 2017. The app works well enough if you just add the 2017 conferences, but it doesn't give them a unique category styling. This issue is a request to add the styling for 2017 and remove the styling for 2015.

As a user, I'd like to get of the sliding-up panel when not in use.

Allow the user to hide the panel, in a way that conforms with Android UI principles. The app does get rid of it automatically when certain actions are performed, but it would be nice to do it explicitly.

Perhaps in onBackPressed. Need to save state of collapsed panel as well as expanded panel.

As a user, I'd like to share a link to a particular item type (conferences in a given year, group meetups, businesses, etc), so that my friend can open the map with those items pre-selected.

As a user, I'd like to search for a particular event. Currently, I can only search for a location.
