Saraff.Twain.DS is the skillful class library which allows you to design drivers (a Data Source) of flatbed scanner, web and digital camera and any other TWAIN device from .NET environment. You can use this library in your programs written in any programming languages compatible with .NET technology.
I have successfully able to transfer single bitmap image to calling application using 'BitmapDataSource' datasource. Suppose I want to transfer list of Bitmap images then what should I do? Is any other datasource available? Can you please provide any reference project for the same.
Some programs are slow at handling the acquire, but I found that the best fix is, adding a progress bar dialog form that does stuff while the acquire is happening. Fixed a ton of stuff I had.
Great work dude! I have tested the screen sample with many programs so far so good, except for 1 that is written in Borland. I did some googling and ran across this: http://www.eztwain.com/borland-issue.htm
Not sure how to test this, I did find a Borland scanner app, and your twain driver worked.. But perhaps the Borland app was compiled to ignore floating point exceptions... I don't know much about Borland.. or Floating Point. Thought I would post this to see what you think.
What happens is.. sending the image causes an error in a dental program called XDR... I don't have the source code so I am not sure what is happening.
Hi Saraff
I use you example program 1 and after I pressed the scan button. The scanner scan completed but the application still show "Calibrating..." and LED on scanner blinking (Microtek ScanMaker 9800XL plus). Do you have some ideas to close this dialog box? Or I think the problem from .dll not support for calibration setting of the scanner.
Thank you very much.
