elite's Issues

Signature error

When running the install script, it works through until I get this error

signtool.exe : SignTool Error: The signer's certificate is not valid for signing.
At F:\Documents\Elite-master\Elite\Install-ElitePaddles.ps1:171 char:1

  • + CategoryInfo : NotSpecified: (SignTool Error:...id for signing.:String) [], RemoteException

SignTool Error: An error occurred while attempting to sign:
F:\Documents\Elite-master\Elite\EliteUi\Out\EliteUi\AppPackages\EliteUi_1.0.0.0_x64_Test\EliteUi_1.0.0.0_x64.appx
Found package: F:\Documents\Elite-master\Elite\EliteUi\Out\EliteUi\AppPackages\EliteUi_1.0.0.0_x64_Test\EliteUi_1.0.0.0_x64.appx
Error: The package or bundle is not digitally signed or its signature is corrupted.

I'm assuming this is preventing the install from completing as both ElitePaddlesServiceHost.exe and the Elite Paddles app have not been created.
Any help for this problem?

Deployement error "not in expected build location"

Hi,
When I run the Install-ElitePaddles.ps1 powerscript I get this error:

EliteUi_1.0.0.0_x64.appx and Add-AppDevPackage.ps1 not in expected build location

The "out" folder is not created obviously.
I know I'm not the only one having this issue.
Do you have a solution?
Thank you.

Is it possible to save the "mapping"?

Hello!
First of all, thanks for the tool, it's awesome!
My question, is it possible to save the "mapping"? I don't want to set the keys everytime I restart the tool/pc.
Thank u!

Current Project State

It seems this project is either dead or unactive. And with the current windows anniversary update, the app will not start anymore. Some of the forks seem like the've been updated more recently but they do not discuss if they fixed the crash relating to the anniversy update. If this project is dead, maybe add to the readme that its no longer being updated?
Either way,
thank you for your time.

Possible Release? Question

Hi,

I am wondering why you didn't make any releases of the software?
Once built it cannot be run on other machines unless you have all the pre-requisites required to build the code? If not, sticking a release would be beneficial to people:)

Thx.
