I haven’t seen an issue about this, so will return youtube dislike compatibility be added in the future? As of now, if you have the extension installed the count will simply be hidden by the userstyle.
Hey! Sam again, this time I made a discussion for something since I think it would be difficult to achieve, so I won't even make an issue hahaha. Anyways! With the new v1.9.5 update that fixed the overlapping elements (**yes, I waited for this update haha since if you corrected the spacing, it would cause issues, specifically for those with smaller screen resolutions**). Anyways, continuing, do you think it's possible to change the spacing of the watch page buttons to reflect YouTube's official spacing? Here are some photos:
YouTube's official spacing (October 1, 2021):
Here's another official YouTube layout screenshot, but this time it's when they added the clip, download, etc, buttons lol.
If you do this you'd also have to change the length of the ratio-bar because of the spacing as seen in the previous 2 screenshots That's why I thought it'd be hard to achieve. A similar issue by @ PANMARSAG14 was made before this, I just thought I'd give more information and also add that the like and dislike button also had incorrect spacing.
Also since I'm doing this discussion, I might as well put really minor changes and fixes here instead of making a new issue.
1: This drop-down menu when you click the three dots and the quality picker had a little bit of roundness, until YouTube's new layout that made it more round lol.
2: The hashtags above the title fix changed the spacing a bit, so now, even videos without hashtags have an empty space where the hashtags would be.
Videos without hashtags:
Videos with hashtags:
More suggestions that I think are hard/impossible to achieve:
If you observe the ratio bar, it had no roundness. (by the way this was YouTube's official ratio bar not Return YouTube Dislike!)
Another thing is that, the ratio bar was closer to the border line, I think it's actually on top of the border line.
That's all and thank you!

Hey, Sam here once again! Just here to report a few bugs so they may be fixed!
1: Spacing for dislike count.
Recently, RYD updated (version 3.0.0.8) and they stated "multiple annoying bugs fixed." Two of which are the spacing of dislike counts, and If I'm not mistaken, the ratio bar randomly disappearing.
As you can see, I have no styles currently applied, and they did indeed fix the spacing and ratio bar.
And now, I have the style applied and the spacing is now a bit off.
2: Display Dislike Text feature
If you turn on this option with the Return YouTube Dislike extension installed, this will be the result:
But if you uninstall or turn off Return YouTube Dislike, the feature works fine.
The bug is that, with the extension, it displays the current dislike count but also still displays the DISLIKE text, rather than not displaying the DISLIKE text at all (like in previous versions).
That's all!
The french translation of the dislike text is "Je n'aime pas"
https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/tampermonkey/dhdgffkkebhmkfjojejmpbldmpobfkfo
Would be nice to just use a single CSS format extension
I have no idea how to fix these bugs yet 🫠
Steps to reproduce the problem.
The dislike text for russian language is "Не нравится".
Hello there! Really liking your YouTube theme :) Would it be possible to add support for this userscript?
As of now, it looks out of place and translation doesn't work for the Description with your theme applied.
There might be issues regarding ordering and importance (stylus applying it's own rules with tampermonkey or greasemonkey applying theirs too, causing conflicts).
Closed, the issue has been addressed. Thank you!
Hi,
first of all: great work, Youtube is much better witch your userstyle. Thanks a lot!
Today I noticed that the font on the video/Shorts/Live page suddenly has a different size. It's a little bit bigger than before and bigger than on the home page. I upgraded from v1.9.7 to v2.0.5, but I can't find a way to bring the font back to the size of the home page. Any idea of how I can fix that?
(Sorry if my English is bad, it isn't my native language.)
Minor update ideas and UI fixes for future updates.
UI Request 1: Capitalize the sort by button in the comment section.
The photo below is an archived screenshot of the sort by button on the comment section of YouTube videos before YouTube rolled out the new layout. (taken August 30, 2022)
Today, this is what the sort by button looks like. [I currently have the style installed but this applies with or without the style installed.] (taken January 16, 2023)
UI Request 2: Spacing adjustments
The "SAVE" button along with the other buttons are slightly moved to the left on videos that cannot be saved to playlists
(I'm not sure if this is intended, or not and it is a bug.)
For reference:
Video that can't be saved
Video that can be saved
You can also move down the channel logo, subscriber count, name and the subscribe button a little bit!
The photo below is an archived screenshot of YouTube's official layout and spacing
The photo below is what it looks like currently [with the style installed.] You can see that the channel logo, subscriber count, name and the subscribe button are a little bit closer to the border
NOTE: This is something nobody should mind as it isn't even that noticeable and necessary lol
If you look closely at both of the photos above, the "SUBSCRIBE" button had some slight roundness but it's barely perceptible!

4.Compact thumbnails on search results:

5.Watch9 reconstruct (restore the watch page layout from 2017-2019) compatibility:
https://github.com/aubymori/Watch9Reconstruct/
This is not an idea but a bug with the old icons
On the sidebar, when a category is selected, the icon is black instead of red.
If these could be added/fixed,it would be cool!!!
The new buttons to sort the videos on a channel's video page are apparently the chips in question, meaning you just can't do that.
Maybe this useful to somebody, but probably shouldn't be on by default at least.
I've just installed Stylus, and when I use Youtube no actual changes to the layout occur. I have the Free Download Manager, Ublock, and DuckDuckGo extensions and I'm not sure if there's any interference from them. I am currently using Google Chrome. Is there any Youtube UI update issue that could be causing this?
i don't know how could i turn youtube's search bar into square edged instead of being round?
also when i install this style it still won't let my youtube's search bar to become a square edged too. i don't know if they were bugged or something? even if i put border radius into 0px it still won't change my youtube's search bar into square to me.
Hey, this is Sam again, I was amazed to see what the three of you worked on for the "translate function"; it was true collaboration lol. I'm back with more update ideas to improve one feature that this style currently offers!
How to improve the consistency of the "Hide Channel Handle" features!
This is a current screenshot of the YouTube channels that pop up when you search for them.
It would be cool if channel handles were also hidden here, but that would probably be hard to do.
Here is a screenshot of YouTube on June 13, 2022 when the old YouTube interface was still present:
As you can see the channel handles are gone.
(I think this will be extremely hard to do, just based on the circumstances lol)
Taps Roundness
Here's a current screenshot of the YouTube homepage.
Here's a screenshot of the YouTube homepage on July 7, 2022 when the old YouTube interface was still present:
As you can observe the taps roundness changed a bit.
That's all!
Can you add back the options to hide channel handles because in the latest update, that option got removed
The channel profile is not being responsive and not resizing when enabled the "Search result in a grid layout" and increase the number of videos per row.
Is AdashimaaTube compatible with youtube redux because without adashimaatube, youtube redux still has 2023 elements and I want to bring back some of the 2021 elements to youtube redux.
Why is the id selector #subscribe-button
?
YouTube is very complex.
Hello once more! I haven't mentioned anything the last few days since I've ran out of feature requests due to this project already accomplishing all I needed!
But anyways, here's a small bug I found with the "Old Background" feature. I turn on the option and the background does not change back to the old background. It was working fine just yesterday. Currently, I don't know if it's just my device or browser.
Here are two screenshots where I had the option turned off and turned on.
(By the way, I also had the custom appearance section enabled!)
I don't know the cause of this, could it be something YouTube changed with the website? You can also see i'm using the latest version as I check for updates frequently.
I just double checked if I was blind and the background does change but I looked up an archive and confirmed it currently doesn't change.
Youtube has updated the UI once again and now the search results are no longer centered. The old UI used to have a lot of padding on the left side so the search results are centered. Will it be possible to implement centered search results in the next update?
What it used to look like from what I can find on the internet:
https://storage.googleapis.com/support-forums-api/attachment/thread-51221404-7061916441851235437.png
«Remove Chips» switch is not understood by users until you see it actually work. It would be better to rename it to «Remove Tabs» or «Hide Tabs».
it looks out of place
.ytd-menu-popup-renderer.style-scope:nth-of-type(4){
display: none;
}
This theme seems to expose a weird conflict with Improved Youtube. https://github.com/code-for-charity/ImprovedTube-for-YouTube
These buttons appear here, along with that error 400 message. Nothing I change in the 'details' settings in IY seems to affect them.
It's been this way since 1.3.1, and I originally didn't use the script because I found those buttons distracting, but now with the latest renamed one, it's still an issue, and searching the code, I don't see these anywhere in it, so it's something buried in the IY extension, and none of the active options I have do anything to affect it.
Is this conflict reproducible on your end?
Hello! I'm Sam. I absolutely love this project! Not a big fan of the new Youtube layout, so that's why I'm using this, and also because you have your own additions! Furthermore, here's another Idea I'd like to see!
(I'm not sure if this is already being worked on!)
(This is a recent change that happened on: I believe around late 2022. And I'm also not sure if this change has rolled out for you guys yet but it has for me.)
Return the Red "HD/4K/8K, etc" icons inside the YouTube quality picker.
Oh, forgot about this.
They added parentheses.
This is an extremely minor request, so you guys don't have to do it! I don't know much about coding so I really don't know how difficult this is to do. But it'd be cool.

Hey, Sam here again! This is slightly difficult for me to explain lol, and I apologize if it's hard to understand. But anyways, a change that YouTube made a while ago affected the hashtags on YouTube videos making them completely invisible. (if the style is applied)
If you don't have the style applied, and go to a video that's currently trending, you'll see that YouTube recently changed the position of all the "hashtags." It's placed beside the view count and upload date of videos.
I'll turn off anti-shorts for now and I'll use this shorts video as an example lol. As you can see, #36 on trending.
Previously, these "hashtags" would be above the title.
Now, I have the style applied, and I am not able to see the "#36 on trending" above the title.
Sorry if this is difficult to understand... but that's all.
You don't have to do this. This is a minor change and this bug does not affect the viewing experience, just thought I'd let you know!
Just letting you know in the most recent update (2.0.1) the channel icon is showing round (when being on the channel page) despite having set it to 0% roundness. Yet what surprised me the most, is that such problem is not seen in the version 1.6.9. Keep in mind to encompass this fix in your next update, thanks.
