Implementation of node.js authentication with social login ✌️, user impersonation 💅, and no passport.js required 💁

This is the example repository from the blog post '🛑 You don't need passport.js - Guide to node.js authentication ✌️'

Please read the blog post in order to have a good understanding of the server architecture.

Development

We use node version 10.15.0

nvm install 10.15.0

nvm use 10.15.0

The first time, you will need to run

npm install

Then just start the server with

npm run start

It uses nodemon for livereloading :peace-fingers:

Add refresh token implementaion

Database not update when do signup

HI hallo,

I'm absolutely beginner with typescript, i read your tutorial : [https://softwareontheroad.com/nodejs-jwt-authentication-oauth/#creating-jwt] but i have a problems with how to write data into mongodb, when i do npm run start there is no error and everything looks fine. but when i do request post to http://localhost:3000/api/user/signup the response is 200 ok, but when i check the database, the field user is still empty.

Can you give more explanation, about the tutorial, i think this tutorial is very usefull for beginner like me.

express-jwt say algorithm should be set

After npm run start I have error on isAuth.js
