msintune's Issues

Assign a group to newly imported ADMX files?

Currently there is no easy was to import the files and assign a group to the policy created.
Has anyone been able to look into this and found a solution (I have tried and failed).

ADMX_Export.ps1 don't export anything at all

Hi, I'm trying to export my MEM policy, unfortunately it doesn't export anything at all. What I'm doing wrong? when grants where asked for the first time I've flagged "consent on behalf ..."

How I could check the grant and verify that are fine? someone else has the same problem I'm having?

I must be doing something wrong...

Hi there-

I am trying to use the DeviceConfigurationADMX_Import_FromJSON.ps1 script to import a series of json files from an ADMX policy. The weird thing is that it silently fails.

I run the script in PowerShell ISE as an administrator, feed it the path to the json files, and returns me to the "PS C:\WINDOWS\system32> " prompt.

I've tried passing the directory as "c:\IntuneOutput\admx", "c:\IntuneOutput\admx", "c:\IntuneOutput\admx*.json", and "c:\IntuneOutput\admx\the_whole_file_name.json" and none seem to work.

Any advice you have would be very welcome.

Thanks much!

Unable to assign group to imported ADMX files

Hi There, love the scripts! Fantastic work.

Just one thing, when using the DeviceConfigurationADMX_Import_FromJSON.ps1.
There is no option to assign a group to the newly imported ADMX template. The import works great, but would be amazing if we could have the functionality to assign a targetgroupid to the policy!

Keep doing what you're doing :D

About to lock "StoreApps" via AppLocker

Hi Sandy, thanks for your code and I can set my AppLocker via Powershell. Have you tried to lock "StoreApps" too? I encountered the error "The requested object could not be found" when I changed your sample code from "MDM_AppLocker_ApplicationLaunchRestrictions01_EXE03" to "MDM_AppLocker_ApplicationLaunchRestrictions01_StoreApps03".
