while adding the extension to Brave browser it shows "Download error: Package is invalid. Details: 'Could not load background script 'background.js'.'.".

We are using options page to collect the user credentials. The UI currently is not very user friendly.
Make the UI better with feedback showing if the credentials is saved or not.

Add a refresh button on Popup page upon clicking which, it should try re-login.

Detect the following errors and show them to the user on Popup.

1. If the username and password name provided is wrong.
2. If the lan or wifi is not connected.
3. If the user is connected to network but internet is unavailable.

The extension currently stores user credentials, i.e. user's Ethernet username and password on local storage without any encryption which poses security threat.

Write code to make the user credentials encrypted before storing in local storage.
