Algorithmically Detecting Technical Patterns

This notebook takes in price data, finds minima and maxima points, and detects technical patterns (specifically an inverse head & shoulders) in price.

You can also record returns after occurrences of a patterns to find if your pattern has edge over time.

Confused by the code

Hi, I'm new to Python and i'm just aware of the basics. I got confused in the part where you find Minima and Maxima. Could you please explain that code ( may be with some notes of what is happening).
Also, can we do this with Yahoo finance? If yes can you please guide how can I move ahead with it?

historic_agg deprecated

Hey,

first of all i woult thank you, for that nice Project!

I have Problems with the function "historic_agg " beacause this is deprecated and replaced with historic_agg_v2?
Can you please update the Code, to work with the latest Version of the Alpaca trade api?
Or help me out the update this function?
