While configuring entity id on the connected app - authentication was successful only after I appended "_saml" at the end of the service provider link. This may either need an update to the Salesforce documentation on external identity or a fix to work with the steps provided in the documentation.

The logout button does re-direct you to the Login page. But if I click login again, I am logged in without keying in my credentials.

Hello, i followed all the steps to create a connected app in my dev org, i exchanged metadata with heroku app but i receive this error when i run the app.

I was able to successfully authenticate using the "Login" button - however this application re-directs back to the login page after successful authentication.
