This might not be possible, but using https://developer.chrome.com/extensions/fileBrowserHandler, it would be cool if we could add an action to HTML files on ChromeOS where the extension adds alt attributes to the HTML file and saves it.

If the HTML on a page changes, the images in document.images should be checked again.

Create a chrome extension that can read images on a webpage. This means that the chrome extension has access to the page, and can interact and manipulate with data relating to images on the page.

The server should host an index.html file that gives helpful information about configuring the server. It would be a good idea to explain how to run the server in production vs debug mode, information about how to get to the GitHub repository, and possibly a dashboard that is showing the current status of the server.

Also, add similar information in the README.md file for setting up the server.

In the chrome extension, generate and change alt tags on pages for each image to the generated alt tags by communicating with the machine learning algorithm part of the project.

Allow user to save multiple server URLs that they can either switch between, or set a primary and fallbacks

Known issue, will be fixed as soon as the repo goes public.

Design and create icons for the Chrome extension.

General icons (see: https://developer.chrome.com/extensions/manifest/icons)

1. 128x128 icon used during installation by the Chrome Web Store
2. 48x48 icon used in the extensions management page (chrome://extensions)
3. 32x32 icon used by Windows computers, and for an extension icon in the toolbar.
4. 16x16 icon to be used as the favicon for extension pages.

These will be icons to open up a pop-up to show that the extension is changing pictures on the page, which pictures it is changing, and a button to re-check the page.

1. 16x16 (could be the same as the 16x16 icon above)
2. 24x24 (required)
3. 32x32 (could be the same as the 32x32 icon above)

All of these icons should be in PNG format.

Once we get the caption back, we could also a translation API to translate the received caption into a different language, to support those who don't speak English.

This would also require adding multi-language support to the extension UI.
