[Issue] Antivirus false positives for Setup executable (Windows Defender, Kaspersky) about stardew-valley-mod-manager HOT 7 CLOSED

We've reported this as a false positive to Microsoft's Windows Security Intelligence team.

No malware is detected on clientside, but their "cloud" detection is for some reason finding a trojan.

Virustotal.com reports issues only with Microsoft and one other antivirus detection software, that sees this as a risky software due to lack of digital certificate.

Resolution

Microsoft has resolved the issue. This file no longer is recognised as malware.

Windows defender has yet again falsely flagged this application as malware.
Also Kaspersky is flagging the update process as malware.

Issue is back again, writing to Microsoft for more information on what I can do to stop this from happening.
Still waiting to hear back from Sertigo about a code signing certificate.

Obtained Code Signing Certificate, back-applying to former versions.

Deciding now that this issue is more or less resolved, having no more reports of malware reporting and the certificate signing seems to have dissolved a few of the issues also. Unfortunately browsers are still reporting the executable as possibly not safe / not downloaded commonly which will just take time to resolve I assume.
