My usual strategy is to splatter install. But I need help to work out what's missing.

ImportError: No module named EpsImagePlugin

Some people, like tradesmen, start early in the morning eg 7:30 am. How hard would it be to change the appointment times through a command-line switch? I changed the source to achieve what I was looking for, but it would be good to have it as an option.

I had a look at the units.tex file to see if there was something strange about it and spotted that the
\ifx \pdfpagewidth \undefined
\else
\pdfpagewidth=11in % page width of PDF output
\pdfpageheight=8.5in % page height of PDF output
\fi

The height is shorter than the width. When I changed this around the page was included in the pdf and djvu file with no problem. The problem only showed up for me because I tried to turn the postscript file into a pdf and noticed that the resultant file stopped at the page before the units-ref page.
