Picasa 3.9 allows users to save face tags in XMP metadata, but it's a different 
schema from Microsoft's. Picface could translate the XMP data so it can be also 
be read by Windows Live Photo Gallery.

Given that the application is built using C#, it may potentially work in Linux, 
under Mono or Wine.

As an enhancement, we could test it, and add a howto in the manual or wiki.

Picasa detects and allows duplicate face tags. The current picface code seems 
to reconcile this issue when saving as XMP, however the duplicates are still 
present in the .picasa.ini file. Maybe if the user has selected the Picasa 
"Store name tags in photo" option, picface can ensure that no face tags exist 
in the .picasa.ini after the conversion. Needs a bit more research, but I think 
something should be done to reduce or eliminate duplicate person tags for the 
same person in an image.

Pictures turned in picasa *sometimes* have wrong areas for the faces.
