Dashboard page redirects to Sign in page with status code 401 upon refresh

After signing in successfully, a bug occurs where refreshing the page causes an unexpected redirection to the Sign in page. Instead of maintaining the user's authenticated session, the application displays the Sign in page and returns a 401 (Unauthorized) status code. This behavior contradicts the expected functionality, as users should remain signed in after refreshing the page.

Steps to reproduce

  • Sign in with your credentials.
  • If you're authenticated, you'll be redirected to the Dashboard page.
  • Refresh the page by keeping the Developer tools open aside.
  • Now notice that the page will be redirected to the Sign in page with a status code of 401.

Migrate backend codebase to TypeScript

TypeScript offers a great developer ecosystem to write clean code with best practices. So, It has been decided to change the existing backend codebase to TypeScript.

Write API Documentation

As of now, the backend supports the auth APIs like register, login, refresh, logout, etc. Create API documentation for these APIs.
