if you type in gibberish on any ModMii page, does it give the same error after
you see the words "You Have Entered an Incorrect Key"?

what is the path you are entering for your .csv?

I typed in gibberish, it shows for a very quick second the error message for
"ping" and as well for "mode". It's really hard to see because it disappears
instantly. The path for the .csv was the root of an SD card.

that's weird. Sounds like something is funky with your windows, I would try
performing a windows update.

Can you open a command window (click start menu and type "cmd" then enter).
Then in your cmd window try the following command:
@ping 127.0.0.1 -n 5 -w 1000

also try:
ping google.com

do the above cmds show similar errors?

What are the language settings your Windows is using? A possible solution is
for you to open support\modmii.bat in notepad and add the following near the
beginning:
chcp 1252>nul
You can add that after the 2nd line (which is "set local"). Then save it and
restart ModMii and try again

Whoa! Both of them showed up as errors. I remember a long time ago I used the
ping command to find an ip address. But for some reason, it does not show it
anymore. I get the error message instead. Wtf? Windows says I have the latest
updates. Odd. The language for Windows 7 is English (US).

EDIT: Oh wait, I fixed it. I searched up this error message on Google.com and I
found a solution. Now I can use the ping command now :)

Before I close this issue, can you confirm that your problem with ModMii has
disappeared?

Solution can be found here:

Ahh ok I got it sussed, it was definitely a windows problem.

The fix:
right click My Computer
select properties
advanced system settings
environment variables button

Under the "system variable", there is a varibable called "path", highlight it
and click edit and change the "variable value:" to %SystemRoot%\system32.

Now the ping command works from a normal cmd and ModMii works brilliantly (even
drag and drop is fixed)

Thanks for all the help XFlak, much appreciated.

Just to add, I was having issues with ModMii saying "this is not a valid
syscheck report". This messaged appeard when i typed in the path/name of the
sysCheck.csv file. It would flash that error very quickly. The only way i was
able to read the error is by spamming the path/name file and hitting enter.
Along with that error was the ping error. Making this change fixed that problem
I was having. Thanks. :)
