i don't know about the mac version, but the windows version has an annoying windows that opens with iTunes RPC. I Would like either a startup argument or a separate exe to open iTunes RPC without the windows. a way to not make iTunes RPC completely silent, you could add a system tray icon.

Not really an issue, but more of a suggestion.

Hi, I'm currently running macOS Monterey 12.1 on a M1 iMac, I can't get the app to open, it is keep saying permission denied, already tried chmod +x and running as sudo

Is it possible to load album art instead of the current Apple Music icon? Potentially an API like DisCogs or MusicBrainz could help.
