These conversions do not currently support timezones so it's kind of hard to get the correct value out of those.
I've done a search with the Task
object. It seems that the search is done in the same level of that DN
. In my case, we have OU
s inside another OU
s, for example, IT Deparment could be a OU
that holds Development and Operations OU
s.
The search is being done at the level of IT Deparment instead of its subtree. Doc is rather sparse so maybe I'm missing something. Now I'm reading the code at the time I'm filling this question (I can't label the issue as question)
Best regards
Currently the sizelimit option is only set when doing paged search results, but there might be scenarios where paged searches are not desirable and the size of a resultset should be limited.
The CLI runner would be able to perform cache creation / cleanup, some simple queries, connectivity validation ( ? ) and so on...
Maybe some simple support for custom tasks?
Currently the system default is being used and there is a complicated way of changing the default value. An API should be created for this purpose.
The method is there, but implementation is missing at the moment...
When running php scripts on a Windows machine that is joined to a domain, there are some environment variables which could tell me the DNS name of the domain the computer is joined to. That way, users would not have to know the exact server address, just call Link::connect()->bind('user', 'pass'); and be done with it.
I see that tutorials are a future plan, could you provide a tutorial on configuring SSL/LDAPS on server 2012? I can telnet to port 636 on the AD server however AD-X says that it failed to connect with no further indication of what the problem is, but port 389 works fine.
Does the certificate file need to be imported before LDAPS works or is the server side certificate trusted automatically?
bind()
function ignores completely ldap_bind()
return value. There's no way to check wether or not the bind was successful. Also, it's not recommended by the author to use the resource from get_link()
, and that would be, from an OOP perspective correct.
How to check for successful bind? i.e. how to know if ldap_bind() returned FALSE somehow, as isBound
is never used.
