This is an example Java application that uses Spring Boot 2, Gradle and Docker It is compiled using Codefresh. Additionally during application build, it is scanned to report codecoverage.

To compile, scan with sealights and package using Docker multi-stage builds

docker build . -t my-app --progress=plain --no-cache --build-arg APPNAME='gradle-sample-app' \
--build-arg BRANCH='master' --build-arg BUILD_NUMBER="1" \
--build-arg SLTOKEN='<pasteyourSLToken>'
docker run -p 8082:8080 my-app

Once you run your container:

• navigate to the dashboard, open a manual test stage
• access my-app (ex. http://localhost:8082)
• close manual test stage
• validate coverage is captured

./gradlew build
docker build . -t my-app -f Dockerfile.only-package

docker run -p 8080:8080 my-app

And then visit http://localhost:8080 in your browser.
