This is a low priorty because it isn't a common task. If someone would like to see this feature added, please leave a comment.

Allos dumping of the server and configuration data to a yaml, json, python, or xml file so that the other software can have easy access to the server's names, private and public ip addresses, etc.

This is a low priority, but if someone has the need for this, I'd be happy to work on it.

This may or may not be a tremendous speed improvement and is low priorty at the moment. On rackspace booting from a custom image takes just as long as booting from a rackspace image. The difference would be in post boot steps, the server could in theory be mostly provisioned and certain steps could be skipped.

In the provision method, before installing the configurator would be a good point to create a provisioned image to later boot from.

Salt has annoying packaging issues with debian the last I looked. Since i currently don't use debian so this is a lower priorty for me. If someone comments that they would like to use debian, i'd be happy to implement a workaround. otherwise I'd rather wait until debian has an easy way to install salt.

Some hooks are already in place, but it would be nice for someone with more ec2 experience to get involved on this one.

this can easily be worked around with manual intervention

When signing the master pacman keys https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Pacman-key. Level 3 'marginal trust' is suggested, but I had to bump the trust level to 4 because of an unknown error.
