Splunk allows downloading of the splunkserver and forwarder via their https://download.splunk.com url. This module does already allow downloading over https but since splunk change the http path structure convention for downloading their installers this module never got updated.

This would also allow for running automated acceptance tests on travis.

IMHO

Repositories like this isn't really helping the Open Source community - why this Hacktoberfest event is created.

So creating repositories like this to just "harvest" pull request is just wrong - it's really sad to see that people are just using these repositories to gain something - when they really aren't adding anything to original cause...

So what is LICENSE for this repo? and do people who adds their personal information as a PR to this repository really understand that their personal data could be used eg. within marketing purposes?

While we agree that it's important to help others, this repository does not do this in a way that is in line with the Hacktoberfest values. Please read the part that talks about high-quality contributions to understand why we are reaching out and taking action. Due to this, we've added this repository to the list of excluded repositories which means pull requests here will not count toward Hacktoberfest 2020.

This is not a DigitalOcean decision, it's one that is inspired by the community of maintainers and contributors who all agree that quality is more important than quantity when it comes to engagement in the Open Source community. The values remind us to shift the focus from contributions to repositories that encourage folks to quickly create and gain a pull request to contributions that will help people level-up their skills and contribute to open-source projects that are in need of help.

• I noticed that in small screens ,the header specially the github follow button and logo goes down and it kind of breaks the design flow :

• Also i see you are using pre defined github buttons but you can actually remove the name and only stick with "Follow" on the button which looks much nicer.
