Would be great if we can use Wireshark/libpcap dumps for (auto) verification of the behaviour. The idea would be to setup certain scenarios like:
- native <-> native, sniffer on tap-bridge
- SAMR21-XPRO <-> SAMR21-XPRO, sniffer on RasPi or 3rd SAMR21-XPRO
- SAMR21-XPRO <- > RasPi, sniffer on RasPi or 2nd SAMR21-XPRO
and afterwards we have a script that checks the capture-file against a predefined description of a packet flow for IPv6 NDP (RFC 4861 ff) and 6Lo-optimised NDP (RFC 6775). That is, search for RS and matching RA, and NS and NA, do they appear in expected order, interval and have the correct fields and stuff.
