It is better to be a human being dissatisfied than a pig satisfied; better to be Socrates dissatisfied than a fool satisfied. And if the fool, or the pig, are a different opinion, it is because they only know their own side of the question. The other party to the comparison knows both sides.

awesome-nim's Issues

Add clapfn

I realize that this is my own project, but would you consider adding clapfn? I wrote it to be as simple for the end user as possible, but still have all the features expected from a command line argument parser.

Also, no hard feelings if you don't think it is worthy! Just wanted to let you know about it. Happy programming!

Mailing list archive URL

I was searching for some pointers, when I stumbled on the "community" section.
The "mailing list archive" URL:

https://github.com/xflywind/awesome-nim/blob/4b1dcb947271f4e417db2f1233ad7ca78b44df84/README.md?plain=1#L526

points to the old archive, which is no longer updated in favor of the forum. However there is now a forum->mailing list archive available here:

https://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/info.html
https://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/

The archive is also accessible via NNTP at news.gmane.io, group comp.lang.nim.general for those old folks that still use gmane. Both are read-only, however I find them more convenient to follow.

I'm not sure how I would add those links, but I thought at least the current mailing list archive is more relevant than the dead one.

Notes

  1. If you want to add new projects, make sure they are in nimble.directory first.

  2. It you want to join me, connect me in discord or gitter(flywind).

GraalVM

Graal supports Nim by supporting LLVM

That might be a bit of a stretch, since we could say a lot of stuff that supports C can be ranked on this list.

Still, I consider Graal potentially interesting for some people, so maybe you can find a place.

Next to LLVM, is also Python, R, JS, Ruby and a bunch of others supported, and you can mix and match the languages.

If valid, what category could apply?

Remove NimCx

Link is dead, not sure what happened to the project, but it should be removed. I could only find the older NimCx updated last in 2017: https://github.com/norandom/NimCx
The package is also listed on nimble but cannot be installed because dead URL

Suggestion of change & suggestion of adding `classes`

First of all, browsing through this repo yesterday and searching libs for terminal section, I noticed NimCx website is broken. After a quick browse I found out they moved to this URL, or it is fork of NimCx - either way, it is working, so current URL should be replaced or entry removed.

Aside of that, I found out Awesome Nim list misses some really great lib classes - adding Python-like classes. Here is its GitHub.
