Work Title: Release stabilization on Linux and Chrome

Extract Data from Git

  1. Create a config file in internal_tools/git_extract/config/
  2. Run internal_tools/git_extract/git_extract.sql
  3. Run internal_tools/git_extract/git_extract.pl
  4. Run internal_tools/git_extract/git_path.pl
  5. Run internal_tools/git_extract/git_paths_canonical.pl

PROCESS DEVELOPMENT DATA

  1. Get rid off the big commits made by bots for non-development purpose
  2. Get rid off the non-development commits, commits made for non-source files
  3. Create table stable_releases, store the stable releases there
  4. Set stable release durations in stable_releases table
  5. Create table git_commit_release
  6. Run git_dag.pl to traverse the git tree to collect commits targetting to a release. This will store information into git_commit_release table
  7. Lag/Transit time information:
