We had a single server and two clients(physical laptops) setup for testing.
When connected with both client things were not working as expected.
Steps to reproduce:

• spin up a server in a laptop
• create one or two clients on physical laptops other then the host server laptop.
• try chatting
• disconnect and connect again is counted as new user. So on disconnection, the number of active connection counter is not decremented.

Snippet is from one client on one laptop. And log files are from multiple clients on other laptop.

write the same chat server in python3 using sockets lib.

right now, if a client gets disconnected, the whole server resets and thus all connections are reset and any existing clients are also affected by that one disconnection.

Needs fixing

the console display needs to be refined a bit because right now message relaying is happening properly but the display is not

i think this project can be used as a great learning assignment for people who are learning socket programming.
we would love to have it as a ongoing project in practice proactive.
