Project Abandoned.

This project will not be updated anymore. I have some plans to rewrite Julis sometime later.

My Discord bot. Made using Node.js, with ❤.

The eslint configuration assumes you to be on a wide screen. If your screen size is smaller, you may change the settings - especially the "max-len" setting. I have tried to personify the bot. So, I may refer to the bot as "she", or as a human further in this project.

Firestore DB Setup

  • The FSPID is your Firestore Project ID, FSCEmail is your Firestore Client Email and FSPKey is your Firestore Private Key.
  • These credentials can be downloaded in a JSON format from your firebase console. [Instructions coming later]

Music Server Setup

  • You need to install java jdk v13, redis database server, and download lavalink jar file.
  • Just google search for them and you'll find them. [Instructions coming later]

Idea: Welcome Event

  • Add a welcome message for everyone, with an emoji reaction.
  • Take note of everyone who reacts to that message.
  • Send a random welcome message imitating them.

Idea: NPM Command

  • Fix date formats.
  • Add unpacked size [data.versions[<version>].dist.unpackedSize]
  • Add a mobile-friendly embed with fewer contents, probably switchable via a flag.
  • Put license in footer rather than a new field.

Idea: Other Commands

  • User Info: Add Spotify link to the music depending upon the presence. https://open.spotify.com/track/<Activity.syncID>.
  • Docs: Remove the emojis representing classes and other things.
  • Settings: The command is too complicated. Split it into different modules.
  • Judiciary: System was designed, but never implemented.
  • Moderator: Add missing warn, mute, kick, ban, soft-kick, and soft-ban commands.
  • Feat: Add a no bot channel type where all bot messages will be deleted and bot commands won't be allowed.
  • Feat: Get emoji command from old code.
  • Research: Look into other APIs and make some implementation.
  • Idea: Some sort of world clock command, weather commands, GitHub commands, other animal APIs.

Music Section

  • Add missing seek, shuffle, and lyrics command.
  • Feat: Add playlist section.
  • Fix: Destroy music players when there is nobody listening to music. Troubleshoot voice state updates.
