epinow-regional's Issues

Proposing a "cake mix" approach for using EpiNow2 to present regular R(t) estimates online

This repository is an attempt to genericise the workflow I've used for generating R(t) estimates for Lithuania for over a year.

I would welcome comments/advice from @seabbs or @sbfnk (or other interested parties).

The logic of the creation (and of how my workflows were developed) was to reduce the amount of data had to be updated (I use AWS S3 for hosting) on a daily basis, so essentially to create a static HTML/JS/geoJSON framework where I only need to upload newly-calculated estimates as CSV files.

This is related to my existing page of estimates for Lithuania (which I realize needs some updating in terms of how it describes what it is and does).

There is a live (but buggy - maps don't work) version for Canada at https://richardmn.github.io/epinow-regional/COVID19-Rt-regional.html

My next step with this may be to make a framework so that someone could run estimates for a subset of countries where data is available (parochially, I would start with Europe) and generate a similar display for the regional results. I'd like to figure out what's wrong with my maps first.
