infographic's Issues

Add Red Hat Application Migration Toolkit to infographic

Let's add RHAMT to infographic. Let's put it under Application Development / Red Hat Enterprise Open Source.

There is no icon to my knowledge (though it may be worth checking with the team to be sure they don't have something in the works that might be available).

We could use pure text, like the other Red Hat logos, or could perhaps incorporate the Red Hat Developers icon, plus AMT text --
your choice if no logo is available.

Website is here:
https://developers.redhat.com/products/rhamt/overview/

This toolkit plugs into Eclipse and has been used at Labs so let's start advertising it!

Add standard Red Hat footer to infographic

Add footer for consistency with other Red Hat properties. From the corporate style guide, via Jennifer Calogero:

Please familiarize yourself with the corporate style guide for web properties:

Official Red Hat Unified Web Style Guide

Red Has requires most web properties include header and footer elements to maintain brand continuity. The main thing that applies to campaigns from this guide are the header and footer styles (1 | 2).Footer style 1 shown here, if used, should be populated with only links relevant to your microsite. In most cases, footer style 2 will be used. Please integrate these elements into your design for brand continuity.

Empty space below footer

In v2.x (i.e., not the version of the site on redhat.com), it's possible to trigger empty space below the footer. This seems to happen after selecting a few items and opening the "application development" section.

It appears that the #main-graphic element takes up a bunch of space, which is strange because all of its contents are hidden.

I'm seeing this problem in Firefox. I'm not able to reproduce in Chrome. I'll work on fixing this problem soon; it's the last issue preventing me from deploying to prod.

Changes and fixes from RH Web team

Let's merge in changes and fixes from the RH Web team. Some of the changes have already been merged up, but we missed a few:

  • The "tail" on the submit button should be removed so that it doesn't look like the Summit logo
  • The background has been changed to white. Let's get some consensus on that and make the background color
  • The registered trademark symbol in product names should be superscript. There may be CSS changes needed to adjust layout once we add that.

Implement GH Actions to publish new release to GH Pages

Currently the redhat.com branch is used to host GH Pages under https://rht-labs.github.io/infographic/. While using relative paths work for this use-case, there are other consumers of this branch (e.g.: redhat.com) that need the various image, css and js paths to be absolute.

This issue is to track the work needed with GH Actions to do the following:

  1. When a new release is published (based on master branch) it will trigger the GH action
  2. Update any images/ css/ js/ references to use the absolute URL, i.e.: https://rht-labs.github.io/infographic/images/, etc.
  3. Push the changes to the redhat.com branch

Add DB2 logo to the Data Store section of the infographic

rhamt image files are missing

@rdebeasi Can you please add these missing images ASAP?

Looks like these are missing:

Make the error messages stand out more

Various error messages are currently showing up under the "shopping cart" list on the right hand side. These errors can be hard to catch, and should be more prominent on the page - e.g: a bar at the top, a pop-up box - something that makes it easier to catch.
