I'm currently looking into using Web Audio API as a replacement to HTML5 Audio.

The reasons for this decision are:

• Eliminate processing delay caused by setInterval() and setTimeout()
• Enable deeper per-step manipulation (Reverb, Delay, LFO...)

I tried to follow / implement those examples:

• A Tale of Two Clocks
• Advanced techniques: Creating and sequencing audio

But BaseDrum features variable step / track / pattern count with per-step parameters, which needs to be taken into account.

As I'm trying to tackle the problem by myself, I could use some help to understand the API and effectively implement it to BaseDrum.
