Seems likely that this was intended to only allow for integers. Currently I am able to enter 1.5 and be charged 1.5 x price, and get two tokens.

Payment completes. I get the Gift Membership code email, but with no codes. Codes are also missing from contribution record and confirmation screen.

Nothing in logs.

For the purchase priceset, I've tried checking "Membership" and also "Contribution" for the "used for" field.

When I create a priceset field and give it the type "purchase gift membership", choose membership type, save the field, then view the priceset fields, the field type now is shown as "Text / Numeric Quantity". Is that expected?

I'm using Civicrm 4.6.26

Are there any plans to have this working under 4.7?

From what I can tell, the only way to edit the email containing the gift codes is to edit the extension directly. (i.e. file giftmemberships.php circa line 192).

It would be best if there was a better way to allow users to edit this email directly. Ideally using the civimail templates interface.

A new price set was created for purchasing gift memberships, using two membership levels. A new contribution page was set up using this price set. Purchase is not possible because of this error:

Please correct the following errors in the form fields below:
Please select at least one membership option.

There's nothing to select, other than the units of gift membership. Is there possibly something missing from the UI?

When checking out with PayPal, and then closing the browser tab / window for paypal.com, the email for gift memberships is created and sent to the person who was filling out the form, even though they did not successfully pay.

I also tested with our custom payment processor. If I enter an test CC number that validates but that then gets declined, the gift codes are not sent via email.

When creating either of the two Gift Membership field types in the price set and filling out all the details as if for a Gift Membership Field

However when you click 'Save' it it bounces back with a 'Price is a required field' and changes the Input Field Type to be Text / Numeric Quantity:

Therefore not letting it be saved as a Gift Membership field
