If Git.exe cannot be found, then it fails silently rather than showing a message saying why. Makes it appear that it's just not working. I had to run it in the debugger to find out why it wasn't working. It's the Process.Start that throws an exception, which then gets swallowed by the ViewModel. I'm happy to do a PR with a simple messagebox if you want. Depends how you want errors handled / displayed. I have limited WPF knowledge - so a messagebox probably isn't the best way to do this?

There is interesting changes that @alkampfergit have made and I think it could be very interesting to merge them:

• being able to hide the dangling commits
• support of bare repositories
• display of comments

What do you think about that @rbanks54 and @alkampfergit ?

Could you add a license to the project?
MIT, BSD, LGPL, GPL would all do it for example.
Otherwise its not legal to fork and modify this project in most countries i think (people have to keep modifications secret/private).

Particularly noticeable when rebasing, the graph refreshes multiple times. We should probably add a small delay to check there are no more operations happening on the repository before refreshing the UI.

I managed to clone this project and use

mono nuget.exe restore

in order to get most of the dependencies, but I'm still not quite there when using xbuild. Has this project ever been built successfully under Linux?

Is there a specific reason you guys are parsing returns from 'git.exe' instead of using libgit2sharp (or libgit2) ? I have used it in a couple of projects and it seems to work pretty well.

facing diffculty on what that particular commit ID was all about , it would be better if commit message will be shown on hover-over on particular commit id

Thanks for the nice software, it looks good, but can it be used in Linux? Are there specific dependencies not available on Linux?
