ff2-default's Issues

about:preferences

Hello rctgamer3,
the ff3-default theme/add-on has some issues in showing the ff-preferences. For e.g. after clicking on "Sync" I get a blank page (expected behavior: overview over Firefox-Account and some sync options).
After clicking on "saved access data" button in "security" menu, it seems a little window opens. But I get only a litte close button (cross) which can be confirmed only by pressing the enter key. The access data window closes completely (expected behavior: overview over all stored access datas included showing passwords after clicking on button "show passwords").

ff2 conflicts with Classic Theme Restorer add-on

Hi,

FF v30
ff2 v1.07
Classic Theme Restorer add-on v1.2.1

This them fills a great void, since I despise Australis. However, it and CTR seem not to get along in regards to addon icons to the right of the address bar. CTR allows the user to choose small icons (the default), or large icons (which is traditional, but Australis loves small).

Anyway, with ff2 theme installed, the choice of large icons is not "sticky"; i.e., it reverts to small icons at every restart of FF.

Maybe you and CTR are stepping on each other?

I'll be opening a bug with CTR, too, if possible.

Sincerely,
Ron

Fox2 for Fox52

I can't live without Fox 2 or Fox 3 visual theme.
fortunately it's available for Palemoon web browser. (pre Australis versions)
after a long break I hope you make another reload version
thanks

Re-enable Support for Mac OS X -- 1.0.8 works with FF 31.2.0 (ESR)

Please re-enable support for Mac OS X. I successfully installed the GitHub version 1.0.8 (cloned & zip'ed in xpi format) on a fresh FF 31.2.0 esr version of firefox on Mac OS X 10.6.8 (Snow Leopard). After initial install, the title bar was overdrawn by the URL bar, but this could be easily fixed by going to View --> Symbol bars --> Customize (translated back, in my German version it is "Ansicht" --> "Symbolleisten" --> "Anpassen", see attached customize-symbol-bars-small) and toggling the "show titlebar" ("Titelleiste" in my German version, see attached enable-title-bar-small) option to "on", which was "off" in my case.

If you need someone with a Mac to do specific tests, I am happy to help out. I have a Mac running Snow Leopard ad another one running Mavericks.

url bar and search bar

there are some issues when displaying the url bar and the search bar.

e.g.

  • the verifying flag is confusing
    verifying
  • In search bar the favicon of search enginge is missing
    unbenannt

I have compared the behavior with official ff theme.

parameters:
ff 43.0.4
ff2 theme 1.0.11
