This project is a Rhino fork, maintained to support features needed by HtmlUnit.

It is split into two projects "htmlunit-rhino-fork", which contains the minimal changes to rhino,
and "htmlunit-core-js" which has the test cases and packaging.

Notice that "org.mozilla.*" is renamed to "net.sourceforge.htmlunit.corejs.*"

Steps:
    - Clone the two projects into sibling folders
    - Create eclipse project for "htmlunit-rhino-fork", with 'src' 'testsrc' and 'toolsrc' folder as source folders,
      while having build/classes as the output folder
    - In "htmlunit-rhino-fork", run:
        - git remote add upstream https://github.com/mozilla/rhino
        - git fetch upstream
        
        With proxy:
        - git config --global http.proxy http://proxyhost:port
        
        To unset proxy:
        - git config --global --unset http.proxy

- To generate the JARs:
      ant jar-all

  With proxy:
	  ant -autoproxy jar-all

- Deploy snapshot:
  - Ensure that you have pgp installed and that you create own keys, see
      http://central.sonatype.org/pages/working-with-pgp-signatures.html

  - Configure your Maven settings.xml, see
      http://central.sonatype.org/pages/ossrh-guide.html
      	then 'Apache Maven' page
      	the server id in settings.xml should be 'ossrh'

  - Run:
      ant deploy-snapshot

	  With proxy:
	  ant -autoproxy deploy-snapshot

    If there is an issue of maven version needed by deploy-plugin:
      mvn gpg:sign-and-deploy-file -Durl=https://oss.sonatype.org/content/repositories/snapshots/ -DrepositoryId=ossrh -DpomFile=pom.xml -Dfile=target/htmlunit-core-js-2.28-SNAPSHOT.jar -Dfiles=target/htmlunit-core-js-2.28-SNAPSHOT-sources.jar -Dclassifiers=sources -Dtypes=jar -DuniqueVersion=true    


- To release:
  1- Change version in pom.xml and build.xml
  2- Make sure rhinoDiff.txt is updated
  3- ensure that you have pgp installed and that you create own keys (see
      http://central.sonatype.org/pages/working-with-pgp-signatures.html)

  4- Configure your Maven settings.xml, see
      http://central.sonatype.org/pages/apache-maven.html

  5- Deploy the release files into Sonatype staging repository:
      ant jar-all

      - for 2.28, run the below (usually with another command line, not Git Shell):

      mvn gpg:sign-and-deploy-file -Durl=https://oss.sonatype.org/service/local/staging/deploy/maven2/ -DrepositoryId=ossrh -DpomFile=pom.xml -Dfile=target/htmlunit-core-js-2.28.jar
      mvn gpg:sign-and-deploy-file -Durl=https://oss.sonatype.org/service/local/staging/deploy/maven2/ -DrepositoryId=ossrh -DpomFile=pom.xml -Dfile=target/htmlunit-core-js-2.28-sources.jar -Dclassifier=sources
      mvn gpg:sign-and-deploy-file -Durl=https://oss.sonatype.org/service/local/staging/deploy/maven2/ -DrepositoryId=ossrh -DpomFile=pom.xml -Dfile=target/htmlunit-core-js-2.28-javadoc.jar -Dclassifier=javadoc

      You may need to get latest version of gpg (v2) if the uploading hangs.

  6- Go to https://oss.sonatype.org/index.html#stagingRepositories, login, close the repository, wait a little,
  		then release the repository

     TODO:
        - GPG automated from ant (in "bundle" target), if possible

  7- To tag:
      git tag -s core-js-2.28 -m "core-js-2.28 released"
      git push --tags

- To update Rhino:

      git fetch upstream
      git checkout master
      git rebase upstream/master
      git push -f origin master

  Rebase with eclipse:
       team -> Rebase -> upstream/master
