Android application that implements Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS) in order to support language teraphy to autism people.

Description

CMI is an application with the main objective of serving as a support to help you increase communication skills in children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

Get it on Google Play

CMI is based on PECS (Image Exchange Based Communication System). Therefore, it allows the infant to develop communication based on six levels, one of the biggest feature in CMI is that from the two years of investigation, we decide to provide just a single Screen which can be used for the six levels, this feature add simplicity which is one of the targets that CMI provides. In addition, it allows adding and editing, adding, selecting and deleting images to enrich the context of its use.

On the other hand, it can also be used by people who do not have an ASD but have difficulties to communicate. Also, you can check this video in Youtube that explain how it works and how you can use it.

android-cmi-pecs's Issues

Remove DataSourceManager from application

As a Developer I want to remove DataSourceManager file since it is delegating work to other classes. Inject LocalDataSource directly into use cases and encapsulate domain logic on it.

Refactor DB in order to accept any language

As a Developer I want to change/update the DB in order to accept any language.

Probably, we only need to save keys in the db and then use it as key of resources (strings, images, dimensions, etc)

Test Issue for Github Project

Cards can be added to your board to track the progress of issues and pull requests. You can also add note cards, like this one!

Unit Test for data layer

Add unit test for data layer. DataSourceManager is not included since it will be removed in future ticket
