Looking at the proposed fix from @Seldaek ramsey/composer-repl#3

I Think the issue could be in the sequence of the autoloaders.

Sadly, it's not just a case of humping things around until they work. Could spl_autoload_unregister be used to unregister third-party autoloaders around boundaries to provide isolation?

One issue is that it is a race to define the classes used; even with unregistering; there would be yet more work to clean off things more within the same PHP instance.

Would sub-processing help at all? Launching a separate process for plugins, and scripts, the autoloader could be managed via generated temp file. It would also mean that it was unlikely for child scripts in the repl to interact with composer internals. And the autoloaders would be separate.
