Hello and thanks for this helpfull repository.

You could write something about the build paths in eclipse / xampp. For example, there are problems with the detection of methods when classes are outside the document root.

Here my .buildpath in document root:

I already have several jdks installed on my system yet when I install ant your script does not check if there is a version already available, but, but starts by installing one.

This has caused me lots of wasted time trying to track down the problems cuased by this.

I am getting following error while trying to install Apache.

Error: homebrew/apache was deprecated. This tap is now empty as all its formulae were migrated.

Hi I installed mysql using brew as described in laracast, created a new database called mario and I can connect to mysql using terminal mysql -u root command. When I try to run php artisan migrate on a fresh copy of laravel (all needed credentials in .env set) terminal gives me this error:

Illuminate\Database\QueryException : SQLSTATE[HY000] [2002] No such file or directory (SQL: select * from information_schema.tables where table_schema = mario and table_name = migrations and table_type = 'BASE TABLE')

can somebody help please? Thank you in advance
