Savesoundcloud makes it easy to export your soundcloud data to .csv for archival purposes. The following public (private tracks will not be available) information is gathered, converted to csv and zipped together for your convenience:

  • Favorited tracks
  • Tracks
  • Comments
  • Playlists (with each playlist having a separate .csv file in a playlists folder.
  • Followers
  • Users followed

I do not guarantee that the information will be 100% complete, as the SoundCloud API will not always return what you see on the website, depending on the preferences of the content owner.

Redis complaints 

# WARNING overcommit_memory is set to 0! Background save may fail under low memory condition. To fix this issue add 'vm.overcommit_memory = 1' to /etc/sysctl.conf and then reboot or run the command 'sysctl vm.overcommit_memory=1' for this to take effect.
# WARNING you have Transparent Huge Pages (THP) support enabled in your kernel. This will create latency and memory usage issues with Redis.

Exporting all the folder but not the playlist wise folder

We can get the tracks and and its URL in excel sheet but there is not way to get the playlist and track inside the playlist.
It is mentioned that all the indivisual playlist will be downloaded along with the track in the playlist similar to Track CSV.

But that is not the case.
Can anyone help.

Inconsistent date snapshot

Hi there,

Firstly thank you so much for this - a really invaluable asset when analysing Soundcloud data.

I've found an issue when pulling the track data from accounts, it seems to take the snapshot from fairly random periods (e.g some will take the snapshot and export the metrics and list of tracks as of July 2020, others in 2019 etc) - is there anything that can be done here? Let me know if you'd like more info

site not working

whenever I go to click on the links or go to soundcloudcsv.com it says it can't connect. Is this code still working?
