Detritus Example Bot

An example bot made using the detritus discord library.

How to use (i recommend using Visual Code Studio, if you dont already have it, since i attached a debugger for you to abuse)

  • git clone https://github.com/erwin1234777/detritus-example.git
  • make sure to open the folder it created with VSC
  • rename example.config.json to config.json
  • edit ur token in config.json
  • do npm i to install the dependencies
  • if using VSC, press f5 (that will run the bot in debugger mode)
  • if you arent using vsc, you can do node . to start it instead

If your bot does start (but logs some initial stuff in console)

  • remove the intents for GUILD_MEMBERS in index.ts
  • restart it
