This is unlikely to be generated by rack-test. You are probably calling Rack::Request#[] in your roda application. You could try: Rack::Request.send(:remove_method, :[]), or in Roda, use plugin :request_aref, :raise, then run the code, then look at the backtrace to see what is calling the method. If you can post the backtrace, that would make it easier to debug.

Alternatively, if you just want to allow these calls, you can do the following in Roda: plugin :request_aref, :allow

Ouch, silly me.

I was indeed accessing the params with r['foo'] in that particular handler
(upgrading from a very old rack version here where it wasn't a problem, yet).
