docs-old's Issues

Unclear debug instructions in Cloning Medium article

Hi, the Clone Medium with Parchment article has some unclear instructions about playing with the CodePen examples in the browser console. For example, in the Basic Formatting section it says:

Open your developer console and try out Quill’s APIs on your new bold and italic formats! Make sure to set the context to the correct CodePen iframe to be able to access the quill variable in the demo.

But the quill variable isn't on the window object, so how would the dev console have access to it even if the correct iframe is set as the execution context?

Improve final `Counter` module pen

This is not really an issue rather than some minor improvements to the "Wrapping It All Up" pen.
https://codepen.io/jackmu95/pen/amzAJZ

Improvements:

  • Only use let and const
  • Use template strings
  • Set default value (word) for the unit option
  • Rename calculate function to getCount
  • Fix count calculation when unit is not set to word

Sourcecode not working correct

http://quilljs.com/playground/ > switching to source code seems to be working not correct.
For example, write a few lines and switch between source code and html view.
When in source code view all the text lines should be in that view, but currently only 1 or 2 or a few.
Switching back to html does not display all lines correct in html view - and vice versa.
