Does pcap2qlog support gQUIC ?

Hi, there!

Thank you for developing the analysis tool of quic protocol. Just wondering whether this pcap2qlog converter supports gQUIC as well as IETF QUIC?

I just run the script as the follows.
/projects/pcap2qlog$ sudo node ./out/main.js --input=./input_dir/quic.pcap --tshark=~/projects/wireshark/run/tshark

and I got an error in the generated qlog file:

Pcapng Support

Hi there,

I have a Wireshark pcapng file from a very simple QUIC 29 capture that I'd like to convert to qlog for visualisation with qviz.
I can see in the README that pcapng are said to be supported, however when running the following command:

node out/main.js -t /Applications/Wireshark.app/Contents/MacOS/tshark -i ~/Documents/UCL/QUIC/quic.pcapng --output ./quic.qlog

I seem to get the following error:

Top level error TypeError: capt.qlog.traces is not iterable

I have also tried exporting the file as pcap, and passing in the original SSL key log file, however I got the same error.

Any further help would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

Converter doesn't handle STREAM frames with implicit length

I noticed that when a STREAM frame is received which has no explicit length information (length is until end of packet) then no length field is logged in the stream event. Wireshark shows a length however, so the info might already be extracted somewhere?

The command I ran on the terminal is this:

sudo node out/main.js --tshark=/bin/tshark --input=/home/akadi/Quic/Test2/cipher.pcapng --secrets=/home/akadi/Quic/Test2/ssl-key_242460824150148.log --outputpath=/home/akadi/Quic/Test2/final.qlog

In input, I put the decrypted QUIC session pcap on the Wireshark options with the TLS session key.

If anyone can help me, that would be very nice :)

No TLS info known

Hi,

While converting the pcap to qlog I get an error ( No tls info known for the first QUIC initial, not supported!) . I tried specifying the secrets by using --secrets and embedding the SSL keys into the pcap file. Both ways gave the same error. To embed the keys into the pcap file, I use the command

editcap --inject-secrets tls,keys.log input.pcap output.pcapng

While opening the pcap file in wireshark, I could see that the first QUIC initial packet contains TLS information. What could be causing this? I am attaching the embedded pcap file, keys and the error message. Any insights would be helpful!
