Polyrise uses a number of open source projects to work properly:

• Poly UI Kit - Used for the application's user interface (hence the name "polyrise")
• jQuery - duh
• JSZip - Export your project's files
• AlertifyJS - For the awesome and stylish alert notification dialogs
• animate.css - For the animation effects
• hint.css - For the stylish tooltips
• Codemirror - for the code editor
• JQuery MiniColors - For the color picker
• TinyColors - For converting color codes
• Lity - For the lightbox

Availability

Polyrise is only available as a web application but you can use WebDGap to export it for your platform as a desktop application, WebDGap will also export a PhoneGap Build project which will speed up your time on porting it over to mobile platforms as well.

Note from the Author

Now I've tried creating web design applications before like MMD and then this experiment. I look back at them and laugh but I wouldn't necessarily call them failures because I learned a lot while building them. So why did I make Polyrise? I made it because I really like the Poly UI Kit (I even used the Poly UI Kit in my app WebDGap), and I love and support free open source software. This was a fun little experiment and I hope others that find it will be able to learn from it. (NOTE: Polyrise is nothing more than a proof of concept)

Now I did come across an app called Mobirise which is what my UI design is based off of. Now keep in mind Mobirise is far faaaarrrrr more sophisticated than my app and they use the Bootstrap framework while I'm using the Poly UI Kit. If you're looking for something similar but with stability, a team, regular bug fixes, improvements, new themes, etc: Checkout Mobirise!

I like Mobirise so much that I even registered as an affiliate so if you do use it and enjoy it like me feel free to checkout some of the extensions below.
