the user should be able to select one or more images, and then view them by clicking through. Or perhaps browse around, have an "add to cart" sort of functionality, and then go to the viewer to "checkout," heh.

Hey I am looking to implement this into a flask app for prototyping a idea.

I was wondering what are the key differences between this and sendit because I want to deploy my flask app code on a real server.

Right now I am using SQLAlchemy for database stuff.

I intend to write my final paper using this project, but my application must send dicom images through api rest post method. Is this possible currently?

As I understand at the moment, this is is a just a simplified version of sendit (https://github.com/pydicom/sendit) , intended for local use only.
Are there more functionalities going to be added? Such as the search interface.
