Possibility of using berries as an alterative way to craft dyes. I believe the berries that could be best, if applying real world knowledge about berries, would be to use the ones that have a lot more tannins. Strawberries, blackberries, blueberries, raspberries, cranberries, and chokeberries.

Possible compat with Logical Dye Mixing (https://modrinth.com/datapack/logical-dye-mixing)

The foods the mod already has are amazing and make sense, however most of them are almost only early game friendly, it would be nice to have more complex foods that require more effort and resources but at the end obtain a nice source of food that will help you through every game phase.

Blueberry Pie for example which the base could be the blueberry tart and the pie itself would have more ingredients, from more berries to another kind of fruit.

Smoothies/Shakes would be a nice addition, more recipes for berries are always nice and gives the poor old bucket of milk another recipe since in vanilla it doesnt have much use

Sweet Berry and steak salad, yes this is an actual recipe and would be a nice addition because foods that give a lot of saturation and hunger are always great, obviously it would have a complex recipe, since there s not much in the mod or in vanilla that could be used as a base for salad, if the mod wants to have compatibility with farmer´s delight this would be a great addon food

Fun fact, blueberries are used for making dressing oil more flavorful , so a blueberry based oil can open a door for many many food besides just deserts.

Like for example a chicken sandwich dressed with a blueberry vinaigrette

W I N E, with a fermentation barrel of its own which could be honestly just a ''furnace'' without fuel and with a way longer time to process to ferment.

Honestly berries are probably the most underrated food from Minecraft and have a lot of potential for making a crap ton of foods and desserts. Keep up the good work

I don't know if it's a mod conflict or something, but

every time I craft a blueberry sandwich my game crashes.

for me, it's just, making a sandwich lmao

I'm a CurseForge user and it's fully updated. screenshots list all the mods I'm using, and the version info. I am new to GitHub so I have no idea what this si gonna look like once I submit OR WHAT IMAGES ARE WHERE! lmaooooo

Different types of berries not normally found in other Minecraft food mods that could be a bunch of fun to have in-game.

BERRIES
Blackthorn Berry
I know this berry was used in various tonics and syrups. But I know it's mostly now used to make wines, sloe gin, jams, jellies, preserves, syrups, and chutney. That it's generally too astringent and bitter to eat raw.

Dewberry
I know the brush is heavily armed with prickles and spread rapidly enough to be considered weeds in many areas. Normally used to make cobblers, pies, jams, and preserves. The leaves can be use to make a herbal tea.

Elderberry
This berry game mechanic-wise could cause nausea, weakness and/or poison when eaten raw. That's cause the raw berries, bark and leaves are poisonous. They're tart and need to be cook to be eaten. The flowers of the elderberry can be eaten raw or cooked. The flowers are often boiled with sugar to make a sweet syrup or infused into a tea. Normal made into juice, jams, chutneys, pies, and elderberry wine.

Currants (Red, Black, and White)
Red and black currants are used to make tarts, scones, pies, other baked goods, sorbets, puddings, jams jellies, and sauces.

Gooseberry
I believe the gooseberry bush is prickly. I know the berry is sour. Love a good sour berry. They can pickled or candied in a simple syrup. Often added to drinks and desserts as a compote or puree. Oh! and ice creams and sorbets! Made into jams, chutneys and sauces in savory dishes.

Açaí Berry
This berry is on a species of palm tree. Made into juices, in grain alcohols, smoothies, puree, and made into an oil

I would also like to include berries dipped in honey by crafting any type of berry and a honeycomb just to make the sweet flavor addition to Minecraft
