Many trees are known by multiple names. Surveyors may be familiar with any one of them.
The data entry form should allow entry in all those synonyms.

Now that we need to go to different cities, names of cities be included as choice.
Pune, PCMC, Nanded,Hinjewadi and others may be initial list

we need to identify trees species by number.
A spreadsheet has been prepared and sent to developers for the same
This will allow people who are challeneged by keyboard and foreign language but know tree species in local langauge to input tree species if they have a list of trees with numbers associated.

Tree should not be acceptable if height and girth are missing

App does not specify what is the minimum or mandatory items and what is optional/occasional.Can we leave it all optional for freelancer ??

App asks me ward number , plot number etc. What if I am testing? Can I have mandatory fields for testing and mandatory field separately defined for commissioned survey.

The device has a log in for tree map app.

Form will have fields as described in the SRS and Procedure docs. Inter alia it includes, name , affiliation, Experience in surveying and allows a time to be set a 'breaking-time' where break-time is in minutes and is the amount of time that will be used to define a new session if there is no subsequent tree mapped within that time.

Thus login sets parameters like Name, area allocated for survey : in terms of city/prabhag/cluster etc
The login gives a choice to either start survey or to upload data from device

All users must be either 1> registered or 2>guests
For registered user : login demands password.
Password can be reset if forgotton and if online. If not offline, user will have to be as guest. the guest data will be committed only after a scrutiny.
Registerd user data will be committed with a validation process.

A session may be defined as continuos survey of trees. In norma cases, a tree takes about 2 ,imutes for formfilling and photographs,
It is therefore desirable that any break in survey of more than say 10 minutes be treated as different session.
Thus tha app should prompt the user the session number and should auto-increment the same after a break of say 10 minutes.
This time gap may be set by admin on the device either at online registration time of the device and be over ridden at the time of user login based on user profile.

A file (spreadsheet ) jhas been sent giving treenames and serial number
the serial number be pre-fixed.
This will allow user to search for a tree by number alone

We need to have an option to put 'off' some menus: e.g in corporate campus like Infosys, no need to talk of health, special, nuisance. Can we switch off some menus at outset

If a tree is dead , other things dont matter. Hence it is proposed that this option be first.
If the choice is ='Dead' then all other options including tree name are irrelevant

Current restriction to 7" tablets is not desirable.
