zoom-tab-killer's Issues

Adjust browsing history permission

Currently, the extension has access to "Read your browsing history". This seems like a bit of a red flag for prospective users. Would it be possible to change the manifest to only allow the extension to listen/mutate the Zoom.us tabs?

Zoom tab is closed too fast when using from a new domain

When you are joining a Zoom meeting from a domain that you did not set up the trust relationship on your browser, the tab is killed too fast, before even allowing the user to select the option to trust and open the Zoom app.

Gif demonstrating the behaviour:

This makes the user disable the extension, allow Zoom to open the application for that particular domain, and then re-enable the extension.

As this is a simple fix, I'll submit a PR now adding the timeout of 10 seconds to all the tab removal invocations.

Extension stopped working after Zoom updated Launch Meeting page

Hey @ptelad, thanks for this extension, it has been very helpful in this WFH scenario that we are living.

After zoom updated the Launch Meeting/Post Attendee page to a new design, this extension stopped working. I think it's related to change in the success parameter in the URL, as it is just #success right now, and not status=success anymore.

For example, from a recent Zoom meeting, the URL looked like the following after I joined:
https://mycompany.zoom.us/j/9121370555?pwd=12341234#success

I think it's a simple fix and I can submit a PR tonight after I test that it actually fixes this, but just letting you and others know about this.
