pyper's Introduction

pyper: Python-based persistent homology algorithms

This is a work-in-progress repository for experimenting with persistent homology algorithms. pyper is best used as an additional dependency in a project; there are no user-callable scripts in here.

Running the test suite

To run all tests, use this command:

python -m pytest tests

To run a specific set of tests and include output from stdoutย (great for debugging), use the following command:

python -m pytest -s tests/persistent_homology/test_functions.py

The icon of pyper was originally based on the pied piper icon by Icons8.

pyper's Issues

Simplify interface to graph calculation

It should be possible to handle graphs that only have either an edge attribute or a vertex attribute. It is somewhat cumbersome to provide both at the same time. Maybe a wrapper would be appropriate---a kind of 'fire and forget' functor?
