I have recently attempted to downgrade my newly bought P40 Pro+ (ELS-N39). Since it was running EMUI 10.1.0.156, the only way for me to sideload Google Mobile Services (GMS) was to downgrade my firmware. I've followed a YouTube video, which claimed to have successfully downgraded the firmware using a method involving Firmware Finder, HiSuite, and HiSuite Proxy. (The entire process can be found here: https://www.android-hilfe.de/forum/huawei-p40-pro.3659/downgrade-der-huawei-firmware-von-147-auf-131.955414.html (the text is in German, but the Google Translate works fine).

I am sure I have followed the instructions correctly, but in the end, something went wrong, and the phone is now stuck in a never-ending boot loop. Is it possible for you to be able to help me recover the former firmware or make the current one work?

I have seen a doc about "System Recovery" here: https://github.com/ProfessorJTJ/HISuite-Proxy/wiki/System-Recovery-Rom-Instruction-(-Soft-Bricked-). It asks to "Add your phone model" below <REGION name="Default"> and <REGION name="China"> by modifying HiSuiteConfig.xml.

I´m trying to unbrick (black sceen) in my Huawei P20 Pro (CLT-L09), I´m using the following links into HISuite-Proxy:

CLT-LGRP2-OVS 10.0.0.182
CLT-L09-CUST 10.0.0.5(C432)
CLT-L09-PRELOAD 10.0.0.3(C432R1)

Also check the following options:

• Recovery OS
• CUST PKG
• Preloaded PKG

I add the following line into HiSuiteConfig.xml inside all REGIONS (Default and China):

When start HiSuite everithing seems to be working but when I start Recovery process i get the following logging in HISuite-Proxy:

I am having problem with Hisuite connection when using the HIsuite proxy.

Hisuite says No Internet connection, Please check your network settings. In setting have Custom Proxy 1270.0.1 port 7777 and everything else blank.
I start the Proxy first then HIsuite then the Phone. Disable My internet security also unable and any other programs related to internet. running or disable.

I am on Windows 10 Enterprise edition. Hisuite and HIsuite proxy are the newer version all updated

Either windows is blocking it or something is blocking it
I have tried
Start > cmd > run as administrator

netsh advfirewall set allprofiles state off

still not connecting.

yesterday i tried to install hisuite proxy, when i press install button and a started instalation, but, the installer changed green letters to red marking error "patch failed, aborting in process". i tried again and the result is the same, i upload some pictures of program.

The patching process for httpcomponent.dll does not appear to be working with HiSuite 11.0.0.360. I am not quite sure how the patching code works here, my guess is that you are replacing some certificate thumbprints? Whatever it is, I am not sure I would know how to start investigating the issue

Is it mean that I can't use the method through HiSuite Proxy at all?

Please explain what is the difference between the place marked (1) and the place marked (2) when using the offline package method? And how to use offline package mode correctly.
By the way, it is recommended to increase the width of marked(3) so that the complete content can be displayed.

i have download rom and save to my local disk.
then i want to use offline pkg method to upgrade my huawei phone

1. run hisuiteproxy(2021.3.26 version)
2. set pkg ,cust pkg,base pkg.then i found pkgs be copy to hisuite ROM directory.
3. run hisuite,connect my phone,check firmware, found new rom just my local pkg ,look ok?
4. but,after i click upgrade,run, then hang at download begin side,very very long time. nothing run?

Latest commit says that offline package bug fixed.
