friends-tournament's Issues

Error in algorithm?

Create a tournament with 5 players, 2 players at the same time, and 5 matches.

For each match one player has a bye since they are the odd player out. Since there are 5 matches, each player should have one bye per match.

That's not the case with the algorithm used. One player may have multiple byes across different matches.

BLoC Pattern Uses?

I found your repo from your Reddit posting three years ago. It mentioned you used BLoC pattern for state management. I am learning Flutter and BLoC and was curious to review your code to learn from.

Unfortunately, I couldn't find any reference for BLoC.

There wasn't even an:

import 'package:flutter_bloc/flutter_bloc.dart';

A text search in the repo for bloc yielded nothing.

How did you implement BLoC?

Not working after 1st tournamemt

Hello,
I was looking for a software to play xwing tournemts and I found your app pretty useful
The problem is I did a test tournemt amd now i cannot create a real/new one sonce it get stucked at the very end of the creation ...
It would be really nice if you add the posibility of brackets/cut after the rounds.
Cheers

Need Teams

How would you set this scenario up?

In sand volleyball, we can have teams of 2 players play against another team of two players. Each player should only be a partner of another player once. If there are odd number of total players, one will have a bye. A court can hold two teams playing against each other.

What would a setup for one court and 5 player look like using the app?

How about one court and 7 players?
