Hello,
I've been conducting several tests on the model, but I consistently encounter a recurring issue with the output: each test run produces many of spikes, 1-2 spikes per theta cycle. This pattern persists regardless of the platform or software version used.

This is my first experience with the NEURON environment, and I may have messed something up in my setup or execution.
For each system, the MOD-files where compiled with nrnivmodl
Here's a brief overview of my testing environments:
- NEURON v7.4 + Python (v2.7) (attached image) , Windows PC
- NEURON v 8.2 + python(v3.11), Windows PC
- and in Google COLAB
I had to adapt the original Python 2.7 scripts, such as converting map objects to lists in the LCNhm_class.py file.I used the h.nrn_load_dll function to load the mechanism. These modifications are noted in the attached LCNhm_class.txt, the changes are marked # Changed by Abdu
LCNhm_class.txt
Could you provide any insights or suggestions that might help resolve these consistent output spikes?
