vscode-racket's Introduction

Racket for Visual Studio Code

This is a package for supporting rich Racket support for Visual Studio Code. Other implementations of Racket grammar didn't have full colorization for the language and because we develop Kary Themes to be fully colorized we developed this package to offer you a much more awesome experience.

This package also features an extension to inteliSense to support racket/scheme "kebab" identifiers and also other racket names such as string->keyword or like #lang

vscode-racket's Issues

How to compile syntax as a normal tmLanguage (no JSON)?

Hi, I'd like to use the syntax as a .tmLanguage, XML-based file to be used in Sublime Text (or even better, as a sublime-syntax but that sounds way out of scope here). Can someone please show me how to convert correctly? My converted .tmLanguage.json โ†’ .tmLanguage files are not behaving correctly. Thanks for reading.

New version inaccessible from marketplace

I'm opening this issue as to easily track the release of the new version on the marketplace. Is there any work to be done before the release happens? I'd be happy to help with it, provided it is any kind of work I am able to help with.

The sytax highlighting is off

Hey! I'm happy there is an extension to support Racket in VS Code, but I have to say the syntax highlighting is sometimes questionable. The list of (some of the) errors follows:

  • everything in a sexp is a constant.numeric
  • multiline strings don't work
  • no languge keywords
  • quoting doesn't have any impact on the syntax highlighting
  • function parameters are not correctly marked as such

I'm working with Racket quite a lot lately and I'd be willing to work on making the syntax highlighting better. Are you open to PRs in this area? Also, I'm not sure whether the changes wouldn't interfere with the extension code zou you provide to have better IntelliSense. Could you explain to me how does it work (and what are all the orchestra files), so I will be able to work around it?
